Saeed AbdulhFatawu is a Broadcasting Journalist who works with a Wa-based radio station, RADIO WAA - 92.1FM, and he is the Programmes Manager for that station.



He has sent a goodwill message to the NPP Wa Central constituency delegates and contestants ahead of their constituency executive elections which will be coming tomorrow Saturday,30th April,2022.


"I wish all and sundry in the elephant family the best of elections as you go to the polls tomorrow. I will be sitting at my one corner as a Journalist whiles monitoring the maturity that would be displayed tomorrow in your bid to electing your constituency executives. It all started well if not for the shameful bloody clash in Sissala West constituency, I urge you to conduct yourselves very well without pulling out a hair from anybody's skin." 


"I urged the supervisors of this election to be professional and eschew personal interest, manipulations might not entirely be eradicated but that should be minimized so that at the end peace shall prevail.

Also, those in charge of the security personnel must also exhibit professionalism and avoid using the security architecture in intimidating and brutalizing their opposing parties in this sprint".

 The Journalist also cautioned his colleague Journalists and media practitioners to also abide by their professional code of ethics and conducts and do not allow themselves to be used as agents of false publications. He said they must check and cross check facts, give each and everyone fair hearing before airing their contents, adding that, for peace to prevail before, during and after this internal elections of the NPP, the media practitioners have significant roles to play.


"Again colleagues in the ink fraternity let's be conscious of our own security and be circumspect in our dealings so that at the end of it all we wouldn't be recording any incident of harassment and attack on media practitioners". He added.
