Holidays: Declaration of Monday And Tuesday, 2nd and 3rdMay,2022 As Public Holidays.

 DECLARATION OF MONDAY AND TUESDAY, 2ND AND 3RDMAY,2022 AS PUBLIC HOLIDAYS.

 A press release signed by the Minister of Interior,Hon.Ambrose Dery has declared Monday 2nd May,2022 and Tuesday 3rd May,2022 as public holidays.

The release says Sunday being 1st May 2022 would be May Day(Workers Day) but the fact that it falls on a Sunday, HE the president of the republic of Ghana,Nana Akufo Addo has by Executive Instrument(E.I), in accordance with section 2 of Public Holidays and Commemorative Days Act, (Act 601) declared Monday 2nd May 2022 as an addictional Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.



Meanwhile, Tuesday 3rd May,2022 which marks Edul-Fitr has also been declared as a statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.
