We are saddened to announce the demise of one of our renowned women preachers in the Wa Municipality of the Upper West Region - Hajia Naminata. 

Prior to leaving us to the Almighty Allah,  she undertook weekly da'awah on Sungmaale 90.5fm where she fed the souls of listeners with undiluted knowledge of the religion. 

Hajia Naminata as the FoMWAG Uppe West Regional Deputy Daawa Officer,did daawa whole-heartedly with passion,humanity and with love for Deen, even when she had difficulty climbing the stairs of the building to the studios of Sungmaale FM, she offered to have the da'awah recorded in her home and be played later for our listeners.

Being one of the knowledgeable women preachers in the region,  her commitment in the propagation of the word of Allah was never in doubt. 

With the love we have for her due to the beneficial knowledge she fed the society, our wish would have been to have her here with us for ever and ever but as our belief tells us that death is like a cup that everybody shall drink from.  Every soul shall taste death and when the time is due.

Her life is really emulating as she lived a life worthy of living. The Almighty Allah in Holy Qur'aan Suurah Fussuilat verse 33 says : "And who is better in speech than he who [says: My Lord is Allah (believes in His Oneness), and then stands firm (acts upon His Order), and ] invites (people) to Allah's (Islamic Monotheism), and does righteous deeds, and says: "I am one of the Muslims."

We pray the Almighty Allah forgive her all her sins (knowingly or unknowingly) and transgressions,  widen and lighten up her grave, lighten her tongue in answering the questions in the grave, make her departure and destination better than the life here on earth and elevate her status in Jannah as high as Jannatul Firdaus. And may the Almighty Allah reward her abundantly for all the preaching she did whiles alive.
