Pelbip events Holds Audition For  Miss Dumba 

 



Pelbip events, organisers of the annual Miss Dumba has today, 30th July,2022 hosted the second round of audition for this year’s edition of the reality show at the Waala traditional council in Wa.

The audition has attracted a large number of young enterprising ladies,and it took place at exactly 2:00pm.



It attracted a large number of beautiful, intelligent and ambitious young ladies between the ages of 18 to 30.
The contestants must be able to speak English language and their native Ghanaian language, and also know much about the culture and tradition of of their respective localities.


Miss Dumba 2022 is a beauty pageant organized by Pelbip events to promote the culture of the people of the upper west region. It is a cultural event that will help young ladies to know and participate in it to promote beauty and development through our culture and is opened to ladies across the upper west region with age range between 18 to 30 years old among the eleven (11) districts in the Upper West Region.



Miss Dumba beauty pageants also provide an opportunity for contestants to gain essential skills such as confidence in courage, elegance and poise in their creativeness, talent display and are also encouraged striving hard to represent the region in any of the national contest.







This year’s audition promises to be a rather thorough one with a record number of successful applicants who are expected to flood the audition venue hoping to make it into the final list.

This was after the Overlord of the Waala Traditional Area, Wa-Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV ordered their caning. It is alleged that the lady in question uploaded the video on social media on Sunday, May 29, 2022. The Waala Traditional Area constituted a by-law in late 2021, banning such practices after it was observed that leaking sex tapes had become normal amongst the youth in the area.
