FORMER TEIN PRESIDENT AND ASSEMBLY MEMBER OF ZINGU ELECTORAL AREA IS CONTESTING AS TREASURER IN WA CENTRAL CONSTITUENCY. 


The humble and affable Hon NUHU ABDUL-WAHAB, the Assembly member for Zingu electoral area in the Wa municipality is tipped by many constituents to win the slot as the Treasurer for the NDC in Wa Central constituency. Hon Wahab as affectionately called,is a staunch member of the NDC and has worked in many portfolios for the party in the recent past and currently. Hon Wahab was a polling agent twice for the party, a branch secretary at Zingu, a zonal coordinator for Zingu, a research member in Wa central constituency, TEIN president at Jasikan college of Education, TEIN Vice president UCC (St.Louis Campus) and currently a Pro NDC Assembly member for Zingu electoral area. This down to earth Hon Wahab is a hardworking charismatic leader with a vast experience in the grassroots politics and at the students' front. A man about 50years with name (withheld ) who resides at Kambali but does his security works in a drinking spot at Kpaguri Estate has today, 31st July,2022 been found dead with stomach cut opened and half buried in an uncompleted  building. According to family members, he went to work on Friday,29th July,2022 and has not returned since then a search begun to know his whereabouts. This was after the Overlord of the Waala Traditional Area, Wa-Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV ordered their caning. It is alleged that the lady in question uploaded the video on social media on Sunday, May 29, 2022. The Waala Traditional Area constituted a by-law in late 2021, banning such practices after it was observed that leaking sex tapes had become normal amongst the youth in the area.
