Meet the winners of miss Dumba 2022 and their respective prizes.



2022 edotion of Miss Dumba has ended and the grand finale was held on October 11, 2022 at the Wa technical Institute hall.
Luck hits Queen Asinma and she was crowned the overall winner of Miss Dumba 22, Asinma is from Kaleo and she represented the Nadowli, Kaleo district.
As the overall winner, Queen Asin-ma took home the following prizes:a brand new customized apsonic motorbike, 30 school bags to be distributed to her district schools,10 pieces of African fabrics,5 pieces of our Northern fabrics, a Crown,Taish (Tag),hamper and Free/sponsored shopping at Heena's trend.

Queen Ngmennasong, who hails from WOGU and represented the DBI district also became the 1st runner up and she took home the following prizes:Modern table top Fridge,10 pieces of African fabrics,5 pieces of Northern fabrics,20 school bags to be distributed to her district schools, hamper, aCrown,Taish(Tag) and Cash

And the 2nd runner up, Queen Tuurosung, who is from Wa Nayiri and represented the Wa central also took home, modern 3 in 1 microwave oven,7 pieces of African fabrics,5 pieces of Northern fabrics,20 school bags to be distributed to her traditional area schools,hamper,Cash of 1,000gh cedis, Crown and a Taish(Tag).

Some citations were also given to honor some people who helped the team team to make the event a success, Royal Media and other Bloggers,all radio stations in the Wa municipality,some media workers and Wiyaala were all given the citations.

A man about 50years with name (withheld ) who resides at Kambali but does his security works in a drinking spot at Kpaguri Estate has today, 31st July,2022 been found dead with stomach cut opened and half buried in an uncompleted  building. This was after the Overlord of the Waala Traditional Area, Wa-Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV ordered their caning. It is alleged that the lady in question uploaded the video on social media on Sunday, May 29, 2022. The Waala Traditional Area constituted a by-law in late 2021, banning such practices after it was observed that leaking sex tapes had become normal amongst the youth in the area.
